St Patrick's Irish Club

About the Club

The St Patricks Club was first opened in 1963 in Leamington Spa as a centre for the Irish Community living in the area.

In the early 1990s the club was closed for an extensive modernisation and was reopened in 1994 on the banks of the River Leam. However towards the end of the decade, Leamington Spa saw its biggest flood in recent times, resulting in the entire ground floor of the Club being flooded. The community rallied round and the Club was restored. It still hosts live Irish and British bands to entertain members and visitors all year round.

In October 2013 the Club celebrated its 50th anniversary with a week of events involving the local community. You can read all about the celebrations and history of the Club in this publication.
