Your Privacy – website users

The website creates a 'cookie' or small piece of computer code which is stored in the memory of your computer together with a unique session identifier.

We do not collect any information as a result of your use of this website, or those visited previously, that can be linked to you as an individual.

Please be aware that we assume no responsibility for the privacy practices of any website linked and accessible from this website.

Privacy Policy – member information

  1. St Patrick’s Irish Club takes the privacy of our members’ data seriously and will only use your personal information for club administration purposes and for communicating with you about your membership.  Only the Officers, Committee & Bar Manager will be able to access your details.
  2. Your details are kept securely on the premises at all times.
  3. We do share your personal information with any third party organisation.
  4. We will hold your personal details for the duration of your membership – should your membership cease we will hold your information for a maximum of two years before deleting and destroying your records.

Privacy Policy – room hire enquiries

  1. St Patrick’s Irish Club takes privacy seriously.  All website enquiries are stored on the club’s email system on the club’s secure tablet that stays on site at all times. 
  2. Only the Bar Manager, Club Secretary and Senior Key Holder have access the club’s emails and therefore can view personal information that is contained in any emails.
  3. Upon agreeing to hire the room individuals have to fill in a booking form.  We need this information to understand your needs, it also details our T & C’s, and so that we can contact you with regards to your booking.  At no time do we contact you regarding anything else other than your booking.
  4. Your basic details (eg name, telephone number and email address) are also stored in the club’s diary once the booking has been confirmed.
  5. All staff has access to the club diary - but in practice only the bar manager uses this.
  6. We keep all room hire forms and club diaries for a period of up to five years....after which they are securely shredded and destroyed as appropriate.

Individual Rights

  1. Under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) you have the right to be forgotten.  If you would prefer that we did not keep you records please inform the club and all records will be deleted & destroyed.  Please note as we are a members’ club, if a member was to request this we would assume that you no longer want to be a member.
  2. As an individual you also have the right to request any information that we might hold on you.  If you would like to see any records please email the club.

Complaints
